“I am [going to university in the Fall] - to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature.” Emma
Earlier rumors were also saying that Watson would join Yale or Cambridge. She was linked to Columbia University too, by the U.K
and i guess the main reason behind why she choose to study in USA is that she can take many courses in one term unlike the study in UK .
Any way there No word on why she settled on Brown, but she does plan on studying literature at the Providence, R.I., Ivy, the alma mater of John Krasinksi, Laura Linney, JoBeth Williams, John Kennedy Jr., and a number of young royals.

Finally just some info a bout Brown University is a private university located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League. Brown was the first college in the nation to accept students regardless of religious affiliations. Academically, Brown consists of The College, Graduate School, and Alpert Medical School.
